Izan Guevara Joins Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP as the Team Confirms its 2027 Rider Line-up
The 2022 Moto3 World Champion will step up to MotoGP alongside Toprak Razgatlıoğlu, completing Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP's rider line-up for the 2027 MotoGP World Championship.
Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP is pleased to announce that Izan Guevara
will join the team for the 2027 MotoGP World Championship. The
22-year-old Spaniard will make his debut in the premier class after a
steady progression through the Grand Prix ranks.
Already
crowned Moto3 World Champion in 2022, Guevara has confirmed his
potential with consistent front-running performances in Moto2. His
promotion reflects the team's commitment to developing young talent
from within its own structure.
Alongside Guevara, Toprak
Razgatlıoğlu will continue with Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP for a
second consecutive season, remaining a key part of Yamaha's long-term
MotoGP project.
Together, Razgatlıoğlu and Guevara will
represent Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP in the 2027 MotoGP World
Championship, combining continuity, youth and ambition.

Izan has earned this opportunity through the progress and commitment he has shown in Moto2, and his promotion reflects exactly what this project was created to achieve: developing young talent within the Yamaha family and preparing the riders of the future. We know MotoGP will be a new challenge for him, especially in a season that will introduce an entirely new technical regulation, but we believe the conditions will allow young riders to adapt quickly and show their potential.
