Double Points Finish for Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP in Sachsenring Grand Prix
Jack Miller and Toprak Razgatlıoğlu both finished inside the points at the German Grand Prix, with Miller running inside the top ten for much of the race before late tyre degradation affected his final result, while Razgatlıoğlu continued to make progress in his adaptation to MotoGP on one of the calendar's most demanding circuits.

Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP completed the German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring with both riders scoring points, as Jack Miller crossed the line in 12th place and Toprak Razgatlıoğlu secured 15th. On one of the most demanding circuits of the calendar, particularly for tyre management, the team collected valuable data while confirming positive signs over race distance.

Starting from 11th on the grid, Miller once again demonstrated the strong affinity he has always had with the Sachsenring. The Australian produced a determined opening phase, climbing to eighth position and successfully defending against the riders behind for much of the race. However, with four laps remaining, significant tyre degradation forced him to change his approach, focusing on bringing the bike home rather than continuing to fight for position. Although he eventually dropped to 12th, his performance confirmed the competitiveness shown throughout the weekend.

For Toprak Razgatlıoğlu, the race represented another important step in his MotoGP learning process. The Turkish rider finished 15th to collect another championship point on a circuit he had not raced at for many years and whose unique layout places exceptional stress on the left side of the tyres. Continuing to build experience with both the Yamaha and Michelin tyres, Toprak approached the race with maturity, adding another valuable chapter to his adaptation to the premier class.

The German Grand Prix therefore provided further confirmation of the direction taken by the Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP project. While Miller once again demonstrated the potential to compete close to the top ten, Razgatlıoğlu continued to expand his understanding of the bike and race management under particularly demanding conditions. With another round completed, the team now shifts its attention to analysing the data gathered at Sachsenring as development work continues into the second half of the season.

Overall, it was a very positive weekend for Jack. He was competitive from Friday onwards and, although qualifying wasn't quite as strong as we had hoped and the Sprint proved difficult, today he delivered an excellent race. Until the final five laps he was running just behind Quartararo with a very strong pace, but unfortunately tyre degradation eventually caught up with him.

It's a real shame because a top-ten finish was within reach, and it would have been a deserved result for both Jack and the team. Even so, being consistently close to the top ten is another positive sign that confirms Yamaha is moving in the right direction, and that's something we can build on.

For Toprak, we always knew this would be one of the toughest weekends of the season. Sachsenring is a unique circuit and tyre management is absolutely critical here. Having never raced a MotoGP bike at this track, it's impossible to fully understand how to manage the tyres until you experience the race itself. It was another valuable learning opportunity, and we'll keep working together to help him continue his progress and move closer to the group he deserves to be fighting with.

It was a really good race until the final few laps. I was able to stay with Fabio for most of the distance, but I was having to use the rear tyre a little more than the riders around me to achieve the same lap time. Once the tyre dropped, I started to struggle with grip and had to switch to a different engine map just to bring the bike home.

It's disappointing because a top-ten finish was definitely within reach, but at the same time we showed we had the pace to fight in that group for most of the race. We didn't want to make big changes to the bike after yesterday because it was already working quite well, and overall I think we were competitive throughout the weekend.

The progression is there. We're getting closer step by step, and hopefully the team can use the summer break to find a little more performance before the second half of the season. I knew this project would have difficult moments when I signed up, so it's about taking the small gains, keeping our heads down and continuing to work. That's the only way we'll keep moving forward.

It was a very difficult race and, to be honest, I didn't really enjoy it because tyre management was such a big part of it. I tried my best from the beginning, but after making a small mistake in the opening laps I lost the group I was following and had to ride on my own for most of the race.

This circuit has been one of the toughest for me so far. Every weekend I'm learning more about the MotoGP bike and the tyres, but here the tyre characteristics were very different from what I'd been getting used to, and that made things especially challenging. The other riders already know this track, the tyres and how to manage them in these conditions, while for me it was all completely new.

The positive side is that I've learned a lot, and that experience will be valuable when we come back here next year because I'll already know what to expect and how to approach the race. I'd like to thank all the fans, especially those who came to support me with the Turkish flags. I'm sorry I couldn't give them a better result today, but their support means a lot and motivates me to keep working harder for the next races.
